  • Overview

    JOB SUMMARY: The Product Manager of Electrical Products is the key interface with the customer and internal manufacturing/product development to manage all aspects of product development and improvements.  This individual will work with a cross-functional team to develop technical roadmaps and execute both internally and externally with our supply chain and customer interfaces.

     

    Responsibilities

    KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Participate as a key team member in Product Strategy development to grow and capture market share.
    • Interface with OEM’s and customers to develop product improvement plans based on Voice of the Customer
    • Manage software and electronics suppliers to implement upgrades and improvements
    • Execute technology roadmap to improve value proposition of existing and new products
    • Provide trouble shooting expertise to assist team in identifying root cause corrective actions to design and manufacturing issues.
    • Identify and project manage solutions for specific program needs.  These will be managed through leading a cross-functional team as the need arises
      • Cost out initiatives to become competitive
      • Field campaign/warranty related programs

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, MBA preferred
    • Technical expertise with software development, electrical, and hydro-mechanical systems
    • 7 years of prior experience within customer facing roles, product/project management, and/or manufacturing engineering
    • Project Management Skills
    • Computer literacy including Microsoft Excel and Power point and ERP systems
    • Ability to work to a deadline
    • Ability to multitask, strong organizational skills
    • Ability to influence others through the employment of sound judgment rather than the use of authority
    • Highest standards of integrity, loyalty, honesty, moral and ethical values
    • Demonstrated experience in accurately communicating customer needs to ensure organizational capability
    • Strong customer service attitude
    • Demonstrated presentation and customer interaction skills
    • Self-motivation, strong attention to detail, and accuracy
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
    • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
