  • Overview

    The Future Drive Engineer Technician role will support manufacturing and repair sustaining engineering efforts for the future.



    • • Ability to coordinate/drive manufacturing activities/resources to meet customer delivery dates:
      • Production-support machinists with drawing clarification, update manufacturing templates, formulate and communicate manufacturing plan
      • Inspection
      • Create, edit, and release manufacturing process.
      • Ability to communicate a clear schedule, maintain tracker & ensure routers are followed
      • Design, maintain, implement, or improve electrical systems
      • Troubleshoot electrical issues to deliver resolution (hardware and software)
      • Evaluate new POs vs material on hand and request build to stock components or assemblies
      • Manage inventory level or built to stock items
      • Job Management Software utilization
      • Ability to work successfully under pressure of very tight timelines
      • High workload across multiple disciplines (explain)
      • Ability to successfully communicate with customers directly
      • Support the AMG maintenance team with shop responsibilities


    • Quality Assurance experience (desired)
    • Associate degree in Electrical or Electromechanical engineering (preferred)
    • Technical degree/certificate in related engineering field (preferred)
    • Programmable Logic Control programming (preferred)
    • Microsoft Office proficient
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Computer programming – VB, C++,
    • JobBOSS (desired) or other ERP
    • Creative, resourceful problem-solver
    • Technical knowledge to set up electronic control systems for mechanical equipment
    • Three to five years’ of experience in a related field.
    • Limited Travel (<10%)
