  • Responsibilities

    • In conjunction with the Project Manager, manage specific projects/product lines to achieve the following:
      • Create business plan/strategy for new products/customer opportunities
      • Understand market dynamics as they result to selling approach for the sales team
      • Ensure consistency in approach as an overall organization to both external and OEM customers relative to selling, terms and conditions, warranty, and other overall program aspects
      • Identify and project manage solutions for specific program needs.  These will be managed through leading a cross-functional team as the need arises
        • Cost out initiatives to become competitive
        • Field campaign/warranty related programs
        • Advanced release/inventory programs to improve delivery

    Own, create, report and improve all related metrics (OTD, profit, growth, etc)Serve as the on-site point of contact with the OEM for business for the following:

    • Prepare for and manage customer steering committee/business review meetings
    • Business Development lead for new opportunities within the OEM
    • Coordinate and resolve open contractual/financial issues with the OEM
    • Function as the global OEM leader with the following scope of work:
      • EnsureOEM support functions conform to policy and process
      • Manage support of on-site personnel to balance associate needs with customer requirements
      • Tend to other administrative needs as required to support the OEM site(s)


    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MBA preferred
    • 10 years of prior experience within sales, project/program management, and sales
    • 10+ years related professional experience in tooling/support equipment, Aviation maintenance or Aviation field service preferred
    • Demonstrated skillset with identification of business opportunities and translation into executable business plans
    • Project Management Skills
    • Computer literacy including Microsoft Excel and Power point and ERP systems
    • Experience with gathering market intelligence for determining market pricing strategies
    • Proficiency with go to market strategies in Commercial Aviation and/or Aviation MRO
    • Prior experience in creating and communicating commercial agreements
    • Ability to work to a deadline
    • Ability to multitask, strong organizational skills
    • Ability to influence others through the employment of sound judgment rather than the use of authority
    • Highest standards of integrity, loyalty, honesty, moral and ethical values
    • Demonstrated experience in customer service, sales, or business development role
    • Demonstrated experience in accurately communicating customer needs to ensure organizational capability
    • Strong customer service / sales orientation with the ability to sell and close deals

    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
    • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
