  • Overview

    The Tax and International Site Accountant will be responsible for developing and maintaining necessary domestic and international tax reporting processes and to ensure Rhinestahl complies with all Global Tax reporting requirements. Accountant will work closely with International Accounting/Tax firms to coordinate preparation of Foreign tax returns and will prepare and coordinate all domestic Tax returns (Sales, Franchise and Income).

    Accountant will be responsible for coordinating Foreign site banking activities, cash reconciliations and forecasts.  Accountant will also be responsible for coordinating all Foreign site accounting, expense forecasting and audit activities. 

    Accountant will need to work closely with CFO, Corporate Controller and Operations to develop efficient and sustainable processes and procedures necessary to comply with U.S. GAAP and Foreign Accounting / Tax regulations.

    Responsibilities

    • International Site Accounting and Personnel Support:
      • Tax Reporting
      • Treasury Support
      • Coordinate audit, accounting, tax and reporting activities with local accounting firms
      • Prepare and coordinate weekly cash reconciliations
      • Month-End closings and Financial Management
      • Annual Budget and Monthly Forecasts
      • Support Payroll Processing and local employee & ExPat reporting
      • Work closely with HR and team on personnel related activities
      • Work with business to develop most efficient business processes

     

    • S. Tax Support:
      • Coordinate Rhinestahl California Tax processing ensuring proper invoice processing, collection and remittance. Responsible for proper accounting of California Taxes
      • File necessary Tax reports for Texas and California
      • Coordinate all Tax reporting

     

    • Other Support as needed:
      • Government Accounting
      • Cost Accounting

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ accounting and/or finance experience with International and Tax Exposure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelMicrosoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Previous experience extracting information from an ERP system, building system queries, data management and developing reports.
    • Process focus with the ability to meticulously develop documentation.
    • Strong customer service and verbal/written communication skills.
    • Strong comfort level in working across business functions to implement business processes and ensure accuracy of reported results.
    • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and situations in a calm and effective manner.
    • Ability to consistently meet deadlines with attention to detail.
    • Ability to adapt to change and reprioritization of tasks as needed.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
