Overview

The Project Leader is responsible for supporting the Business Development and Sales functions in obtaining, assimilating, and communicating market intelligence enabling success in the market.  In addition, the Project Leader is the key focal for oversite of proposal strategy, development, and approval.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assimilate market intelligence to understand market pricing, buying trends, and overall market activity
  • Utilize market intelligence to drive Supply Chain action on cost reduction as well as strategic inventory procurement
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Specialists and Operations Productivity Leader to update Master Data File cost updates for new engine programs
  • Collaborate with Program Manager to develop strategies and anticipate needs for Entry Into Service (EIS) campaigns as well as MRO shop opportunities
  • Review and finalize sales proposals to win in the marketplace
  • Conduct bid and proposal reviews with Regional Sales Managers and Program Managers, and provide final approval for projects that are within pre-determined approval limits
  • Entry into Service package preparation:  works with OEM engineering and Rhinestahl TPM’s and marketing to prepare entry into service customer packages for the sales team.
  • Stay informed of the latest changes and news regarding all commercial OEM engine lines through attendance at technical reviews and other customer/OEM events

  • Experience with gathering market intelligence for determining market pricing strategies
  • 4-year degree and/or 5+ years’ experience in tooling/support equipment, Aviation maintenance or Aviation field service.
  • Proficiency with go to market strategies in Commercial Aviation and/or Aviation MRO
  • Computer literacy and proficiency including Microsoft Excel and Power point and ERP systems
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Prior experience in creating and communicating commercial agreements
  • Ability to work to a deadline
  • Ability to multitask, strong organizational skills
  • Articulate and effective communicator with the ability to influence others through the employment of sound judgment and good sense rather than the use of authority.
